Can you buy a girl clothes?
17May11
I have a question, or rather a dilemma: is it okay to buy a woman clothes? I know it sounds ridiculous, but I've never bought clothes for my mum, sister or girlfriend!
My girlfriend's birthday is coming up and I want to buy her something nice and expensive, and, well, flashy. I've found a site online that sells designer brands at really good prices, and they have these really sexy designer dresses and women's designer jeans that I think would look great on her.
But there's the whole size issue, both her and my sister have moaned about shops selling different sizes, and if I get a size too small she might be offended, and if I get her a size too big she might get offended too!
Oh forget it, maybe I should just go for perfume or something else! Or maybe show her first, without the prices visible?

Must-have grilling tools
25Sep10
With the BBQ season almost over, you can get some grilling tools on sale. Your husband will really appreciate your getting him a new set of tools “for the job”. Here is a short list of what you need to have the perfect grill.
* Wooden spatula for flipping the meat. You know how hot the iron tools get when you have them near the grill; a wooden spatula is the safer tool.
* A wooden fork. Again, for your husband’s safety, don’t have him use iron tools for spearing the meat.
* Meat thermometer. If you haven’t been using one, it’s high time you joined the 21st century and get one. It prevents overcooking and helps you keep the food at a safe temperature.
* A brush for cleaning up the mess. Nylon or wire is highly recommended. If you have been cleaning your grill with rugs or anything else, try a brush—it will spare some unnecessary headaches.
With Guy Fawkes celebration drawing near, a set of grilling tools could be a nice gift for your home.
